Fees and payouts
What a position costs, how profits are paid, what network fees you pay and what Twirrle never charges.
Positions
Opening a position costs a small share of its amount. When you close in profit, part of the gain is kept as a performance fee: a larger share on very small moves, a smaller one on big moves. A position that closes at a loss carries no performance fee, and a liquidated position loses its amount and never more. While a position is open, a small holding fee is taken at fixed intervals. Closing a position costs nothing, and there is no spread: you enter and exit at the official index value, so a position that does not move costs just its opening fee. Every figure on the board is shown net, with the fees already applied; the same rules apply to practice money. One position can use at most the size shown below, and its profit is capped at a set amount.
Closing
Closing a position costs nothing: it exits at the next official index value and you receive its value at that price, net of the fees. Auto profit and auto loss cost nothing extra either.
Deposits and withdrawals
- Deposits: we charge nothing. You pay the blockchain network fee when you send. The minimum deposit depends on the network and is shown on the deposit page.
- Withdrawals: a network fee is deducted. The current fee for each network is shown on the withdrawal page before you confirm.
- Refunds of untraded deposits are sent back less the network fee.
What we never charge
- No account, subscription or inactivity fees.
- No interest or currency-conversion spread on balances (USDC is booked 1:1 with USDT).
- Practice money has no cash value; fees on it are virtual too.
