Limits and responsible use
The limits you can set, the limits built into every position and how to take a break or exclude yourself.
Limits you control
- Loss limit per day, week or month (open positions count as at risk).
- Wager limit: the total you can put down in a period.
- Positions per day.
- Session time limit: new positions pause when a session runs this long.
- Reality check: a reminder with your time spent and net result.
- Auto loss on each position: it closes by itself at the net loss you choose.
- Breaks from one hour to several weeks, and self-exclusion for longer periods. A self-exclusion cannot be shortened or undone. During a break you can still close open positions.
Lowering a limit applies immediately. Raising or removing one waits for a cooling-off period, so a decision made in the moment never takes effect at once. Set them in Settings › Limits.
Limits built into the product
Every account has the same product limits, in the practice book and the real-money book alike, shown here from the live configuration:
How we design for control
- The liquidation price and the most you can lose are shown before you open; every figure is net of fees.
- No countdown pressure, no confetti or “go again” prompts.
- Badges and ranks come only from the practice book and good habits (setting a limit, checking a position), never from real-money volume or losses.
- Real-money results are never ranked on the leaderboard.
If it stops being fun
Signs to watch: spending more than you planned, raising the leverage to win back losses, hiding how much time or money you spend, feeling restless when you stop. Take a break or self-exclude in Settings, talk to someone you trust, or contact a local support service for compulsive behaviour. You can also ask our Support to close your account.
