Help & rules
Clear answers on positions, leverage, liquidation, fees, deposits, withdrawals, limits and the price index. How Twirrle works, in plain words and in full.
Positions
- What is a position?
- You pick a market, Up or Down, an amount and leverage from 1× to 1000×. Your profit or loss is the price move in your direction, times the leverage, on your amount. There is no expiry: you close it whenever you like.
- Which price is my entry, and my exit?
- The first official index value after we accept your request — never the last price you saw and never one we choose. Closing works the same way: the next official value after your close reaches us, on the same 250 ms grid.
- What is the liquidation price?
- The price at which a move against you has used up your amount: a move of 1% at ×100, 0.1% at ×1000. If the official index reaches it, the position closes and you lose the amount — never more. You see it before you open and on every open position.
- What does a position cost?
- Opening costs 1% of the amount (at least $0.01). When you close in profit, part of the gain is kept as a performance fee — a larger share on very small moves, a smaller one on big moves; losses carry no such fee. While a position stays open, a small holding fee is taken every 8 hours. Closing costs nothing, and there is no spread: you enter and exit at the official index value. One position can use at most $1,000,000 (the amount after the opening fee × leverage; less on some markets), and its profit is capped at $500,000. Every figure we show is already net.
- How many positions can I have open?
- Up to the number in the table below, and only so many new ones a minute. Each position is separate: closing one does not touch the others.
- Is there a most I can win on one position?
- Yes. When a position's profit reaches the maximum in the table below, it closes by itself and the profit is paid.
- Does “Close” ask me to confirm?
- “Close” and “Close all” act at once: there is no confirmation step. A close is executed at the first valid official index price after your request reaches our server. Delays on your side of the network — your connection, device or browser — are not grounds for a claim.
Index and proofs
- Where do prices come from?
- The official Twirrle index is the median of several independent public sources, calculated every 250 ms, hash-chained and sealed every day. The chart only draws official values.
- How do I check a price?
- Every index value has a sequence number and the hash of the one before it. Tap Verified next to the chart to see the latest values and check the chain in your browser; your entry and exit are values of this chain. Your positions and their results are in Performance.
Practice and USD
- Does the practice balance hold USD?
- No. Practice balances are virtual, have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. Badges and the leaderboard use the practice book only. The rules and limits are the same as with USD.
- Who can play with USD?
- Only adults (18+) in regions we have allowed. Elsewhere, and until we switch it on, only the practice book is available.
Deposits
- Which coins and networks are supported?
- USDT and USDC on the networks listed on the deposit page (and in the table below). Each network shows its own deposit address.
- Is there a minimum deposit?
- Yes. The minimum depends on the network and is shown on the deposit page next to the address. Smaller amounts are not credited automatically.
- When is my deposit credited?
- After the number of block confirmations shown for the network — usually a few minutes.
- I sent on the wrong network or the wrong coin
- Always send the coin shown, on the network shown. Funds sent on another network or as another token may be lost; recovery, when possible at all, is manual and not guaranteed. Write to us with the transaction hash right away.
- Are there deposit limits?
- Yes, a daily and a monthly limit per account (current values below).
Withdrawals
- Why can’t I withdraw my deposit straight away?
- Each deposit has to be traded through once (positions opened worth at least the deposited amount) before it can be withdrawn. Changed your mind? Ask Support (Withdrawal → “Refund a deposit I have not traded”) and we send it back to where it came from, less the network fee.
- Why is my new address not usable yet?
- A withdrawal address you have not used before has a cool-down before it can be used. This protects you if someone gets into your account.
- What does a withdrawal cost?
- A network fee, shown on the withdrawal page before you confirm. See Fees and payouts.
- Are there withdrawal limits?
- Yes, daily and monthly limits per account, and larger or unusual withdrawals may be reviewed by a person first.
Limits and breaks
- Can I set my own limits?
- Yes: loss, wager and positions-per-day limits, a session time limit, reality checks, breaks and self-exclusion in Settings › Limits. Lowering applies at once; raising waits a day.
Account and security
- How do I keep my account safe?
- Add a passkey or two-step verification in Settings › Security. We never ask for your password, codes or private keys — not even in Support.
- Do I need two-step verification to withdraw?
- No, it is optional, but we recommend it. Once it is on, every withdrawal asks for a code from your authenticator app. Either way, a new withdrawal address has a cool-down before first use and larger withdrawals are reviewed before they are sent.
- How do I close my account?
- Write to us. Open positions are closed first and any USD balance is paid out after our checks.
